With over 20 years of experience counseling teens and a background in neuroscience, emotional regulation, and positive psychology, Sarah created the RISE UP™ Framework to help people build steady, grounded resilience that lasts.
Life won’t slow down, but you can rise up! If you’re tired of feeling overwhelmed, stuck in the same patterns, or unsure how to support yourself or your family, you’re not alone. You’re capable of so much more than the stress you’ve been carrying. The RISE UP™ Framework gives you the tools, structure, and support to regulate your emotions, strengthen your mindset, and create real, lasting change. If you’re ready to feel clearer, stronger, and more grounded, this is your moment to rise — not someday, but now.
The RISE UP™ Framework is a neuroscience‑aligned framework for lasting transformation. Designed for those who want clarity, confidence, and emotional mastery, it gives you the tools to rise into your next level with strength and intention.

When obstacles rise up in your path, the first step isn’t to push harder, it’s to regulate. To pause, breathe, and steady your internal world so you can see clearly again and know how to navigate the challenge. From that place of calm, you begin to identify what’s really happening: the emotions beneath the surface, the thoughts shaping your reactions, the patterns that keep repeating. When you regulate your body and identify your truth, the obstacle in front of you stops feeling like a wall and starts looking like a path you can navigate. Clarity replaces chaos. Strength replaces overwhelm. And you rise with intention instead of reaction.
Becoming your best self starts with one brave decision: the willingness to shift. Shift the thoughts that hold you back, shift the patterns that keep you stuck, shift the way you speak to yourself when life feels heavy. Every small shift creates space for something new to grow. And as you choose those shifts again and again, you begin to empower yourself - not with loud confidence, but with the quiet, grounded strength that comes from showing up for your own life. Empowerment isn’t a moment; it’s a series of intentional steps that remind you who you are becoming. This is how you rise into your strongest, truest self.
Resilience grows when you choose to understand yourself with honesty and compassion. When you pause long enough to see the patterns beneath your reactions, you gain the clarity to respond instead of repeat. That understanding becomes your inner compass, guiding you toward choices that support who you’re becoming. And with consistent practice, those choices turn into habits, and those habits turn into strength. Practice is where resilience takes root: in the small, steady actions you return to again and again until they reshape the way you move through the world. This is how you rise... through understanding your story and practicing the steps that rewrite it.
Hi Welcome! I’m a neuroscience‑informed coach, educator, and curriculum designer with over 20 years of experience helping youth, adults, and families build emotional regulation, resilience, and steady inner strength. My work blends evidence‑based science, practical tools, and the quiet, grounded wisdom that comes from lived experience and faith. I believe transformation is both a biological process and a spiritual journey, the brain rewiring and the heart awakening, step by step.
The RISE UP™ Framework was born from this integration. It’s a structured, neuroscience‑aligned framework that helps individuals and families regulate their emotions, shift unhelpful patterns, strengthen communication, and build confidence from the inside out. It’s rooted in research, shaped by real‑world experience, and infused with the belief that every person is capable of rising into clarity, steadiness, and strength.
My story is woven into this work. Growing up in a military family, with a father who served 30 years in the Air Force, I learned early what it meant to adapt, to carry heavy loads, and to keep moving through uncertainty. Those years taught me the kind of resilience that doesn’t shout, but the kind that endures. That’s why the donkey is central to my brand. (click here to learn about the brand story) Donkeys are steady, sure‑footed, and wise. They don’t rush the climb; they take the next right step. They carry what matters. They move with quiet strength. That’s the heart of RISE UP™.
My faith is the foundation beneath it all. I’m grateful for the Lord’s guidance in every step of this mission - the doors opened, the clarity given, the strength renewed. I’m also a wife to my childhood sweetheart and a mom to our joyful two‑year‑old daughter, who inspires my passion for emotional intelligence, resilience, and generational transformation. She reminds me daily why this work matters.
When I’m not writing or teaching, you’ll often find me on a hiking trail. Hiking mirrors the transformation journey: steady upward movement, intentional steps, moments of breath, and the quiet realization that you’re stronger than you thought. It’s where science, faith, and metaphor meet... the brain calming, the Spirit speaking, the path rising beneath your feet.
If you’re here, you’re likely carrying more than people realize.
You’re ready for something to shift.
And you don’t have to walk this path alone.
I’m here to walk beside you — steady, grounded, faith‑anchored, and science‑informed — as you rise into clarity, confidence, and the strong, steady life you were created for.
